Lotus Blossom Window Card

A little something different than my normal A2 card.  I gave a window card a try using the Lotus Blossom Stamp Set.  I sure hope this stamp set is included in the new 2015-16 catalog coming out this summer.  It was pretty easy piecing it all together.  Here are the dimensions and supplies I used to create the Lotus Blossom.

Dimensions of Card Stock:

Perfect Plum:  11 x 3 1/4 plus a smudge, scored at 5 1/2
Crumb Cake:  4 1/4 x 5 7/16
Elegant Eggplant:  3 7/8 x 5 7/16
Whisper White:  3 x 5 7/16

Using my 2 1/2" circle punch I punched out the circle 1/2" from the score line.  Then emboss the front of the card with a embossing folder of your choice.  I would pick one with a flower theme design.

Wrap around some Whisper White Ribbon and glue down in the middle (the scallop circle will hide the ends of the ribbon.

Adhere the layers on top of each other.  I used Tombo Glue.

Stamp the Lotus Blossom (Stamp 1) with the front of the card down so you know where to center the Blossom.  Turn flap up and Stamp 2 and 3 next.  I used Elegant Eggplant, stamping off once with Stamp 2 and stamping off twice with Stamp 3.  Add your sentiment and stem.

I also used Dazzling details on the Lotus Blossom to give it a pretty look.

For the sentiment on the front of the card, I used the 1 1/4 scallop circle punch along with the 1" circle punch and added my sentiment.

The window card came together in no time and I am sure it will be a piece of cake for you as well.
