Simple Valentine's Day Projects

Here are two simple Valentine's Day projects I made last night using limited supplies, card stock, some simple stamping, and Designer Series Paper I had leftover from last year.

For the first project, I used the Fry Box Bigz L Die and my Big Shot and some Real Red Card stock.  You can get two fry boxes out of one piece of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock.  Used a piece of retired Designer Series Paper for the front piece cut 1 3/4 x about 3 inches, then trimmed down.

When making these Fry Boxes, make sure you use strong adhesive, like tear and tape or fast fuse.  I also used it for the Designer Series Paper.

The ribbon is from my Grandmother's stash, love adding in her ribbon when I can.

For the second project, I purchased the small glass containers from Dollar General.  It's hard to see, but I embossed using Cherry Cobbler embossing powder on the front and back side of the jar.  Be careful because it takes longer to emboss on glass, plus the glass get's hot.

The container covers I used circle and scallop punches and stamped the design as on the Fry Box.

Hope you enjoyed these projects that are easy, simple, and not that expensive to make.  Don't forget to add your favorite candy in a clear envelope!
