Happy Christmas Poinsettia Card with a Vintage Theme

This week I came across a card I saw on Pinterest by Carmen Morris and knew I needed to re-create it.  Love her vintage look.    Here are the supplies and instructions to create one of your own.

Poinsettia Card – Vintage Theme

Reason for the Season, Oh, What Fun, Timeless Textures, Versatile Christmas (retired)

Card Stock:
Chocolate Chip card base cut 5 ½ x 8 ½, scored at 4 ¼
Garden Green cut 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Very Vanilla (2 pieces – one for stamping, one for inside of card)
This Christmas Specialty Paper Designer Series Paper cut 3 7/8 x 3 ¾
Gold Foil Paper for flower bud

Ink Colors:
Crumb Cake, Memento Tuxedo Black, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive

Other :
Piercing Mat, Dimensionals, Glue Dot, Festive Builder Punch

Directions:
Tip:  Make sure your hands are clean at all times.

Using the Festive Flower Builder Punch, punch out 3 large petals in Old Olive, 8 large petals in Cherry Cobbler, 4 medium petals in Cherry Cobbler, 2 double stem petal, and two center flowers in Gold Foil.
Using the piercing mat and correct petal size, stamp each petal tone on tone.  Sponge all petals in matching ink color except the gold foil flowers.  Set aside.

Tear the DSP at an angle and towards you downwards right to left.  Sponge edges with Crumb Cake, including the torn side.
Adhere to the Very Vanilla piece.
Stamp this piece using all three stamps from Timeless Textures.  Stamp off on occasion to get a different tone of Crumb Cake.  Sponge all edges.  Use piercing mat and stamp your sentiment in Memento Black ink closer to the top left side.  Make sure your stamp is inked up well and hold down for five seconds and don’t rock the block.  Lift up slowly.

Adhere to Garden Green, then adhere to Chocolate Chip.  You will have 1/8 border.
Stamp the inside piece of Very Vanilla with sentiment.  Add Timeless Textures images in you wish.  Attach to inside of your card.

Use the Cherry Cobbler circle to create your Poinsettia.  Add four large petals, then alternate next layer, and so on.

Use a glue dot to secure each center flower.  Use the piercing tool to assist you.
Add two dimensionals to backside of poinsettia and secure to card front.
Use fine tip glue pen and add three sequins
Add one pearl to center of flowers.

Stamp envelope to match.

Happy Stamping from Inspired By Gram!
