Gather Together and Give Thanks

Today I am sharing with you one of my Thanksgiving cards we will be making at my upcoming class on October 24th.  I like to use old and new with my cards and projects that I create.  For today's card, I used the Painted Autumn Designer Series paper and the old style of Classic Stampin' Pad, Soft Suede.  There's no need to "not" use that Designer Series paper, even if it's retired!
My card base is Soft Suede cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.  I then used the Woodland embossing folder and a piece of Cajun Craze card stock cut 4 x 5 1/4 to create the embossed trees.  Adhered this panel to the card base.  Next I cut out three different sized circles using the Stitched Circle Framelits.  These are a must have; I use them all the time (circles, squares, ovals).  The stitching makes a nice added bonus to your card.
Adhere the large circle directly to the Cajun Craze panel, pop up the other two using dimensionals.  I then created the daisy with the Daisy Delight stamp set and Daffodil Delight card stock.  Stamped the image using Mango Melody and Soft Suede.  Use a sponge dauber to add ink to the center of each flower and then the Daily punch to punch out both flowers.  Adhere them together with a glue dot, off-centering so the flower is full.  Adhere the flower directly to the medium sized circle.  Add a large Gold Faceted gem to the center for bling.  The sentiment comes from Painted Harvest, stamped on a stripe of Very Vanilla.  Pop up with dimensionals.
For the inside of the card and the envelope, I used the Daisy Delight stamp.
Here is my video for step-by-step instructions.  As always, if you have questions, please leave a comment.  I enjoy hearing from you.
Have fun stamping and crafting today!
