I've been super busy and got a little behind this week with my stamping and blogging. Easter cards will be a little late for some, but at least they are mailed!
I did not have a specific Easter stamp set, so I settled on A Good Day from Stampin' Up!
Using a simple layout, I created a top folding card out of Whisper White card stock. I then added a 4 x 3 piece of Floral Romance Designer Series Paper to the bottom section. I coordinated the card with our variegated ribbon; which comes in Petal Pink and Whisper White. It's a really soft ribbon and easy to tie knots and bows with. Don't forget to add it to your shopping cart today!
Using the stitched oval die, I cut out an oval from Petal Pink card stock. Adding four dimensionals gives it dimension. For a colorful daisy, I used a combination of Petal Pink, Soft Seam Foam, and Whisper White. The daisy punch makes it super simple to create a nice "happy" flower. I added a glue dot and adhered them together. Added a dimensional to the backside to give the daisy dimension. I had some glitter enamels in my stash and added to the center of the flower after punching out a 1/2" circle in Petal Pink.
I stamped the sentiment in Pear Pizzazz and punched it out with the Classic Label punch and adhered directly to the oval.
I was able to make 14 cards in 90 minutes. Punches and simple die cutting make it easy.
Here is a list of supplies below that I used to create this card.
I hope you have a happy Easter and able to spend with family and/or friends.
Have a crafty day!
Karen
